Care and repair

The instructions stay in the passport because a sewn-in label wears off.

Care
Do not wash or iron. Clean only at a specialist leather cleaner. Wipe stains with a slightly damp cloth. Condition with a balm for smooth leather once a season. Store on a wide hanger, away from sunlight and radiators.
Repair
The workshop repairs its own pieces: zip and waist-buckle replacement, re-stitching of seams, lining renewal. Small scuffs in the leather can be covered with a tinted balm - do not use solvents or products containing alcohol.
